There are many sandy and rocky beaches or inlets in Costa d’Argento and the sea is simply marvellous. The closest ones are: Osa sandy beach 15-20 meters wide (8 km to arrive and 12 km to return) bordered by a florid pinewood where you can walk or have a picnic and where you can find shaded parking, three bathing establishments and 6km of free sandy beach, while if you are looking for rocky beaches we advise you to go to Talamone (10 km), a relaxing little place by crystal clear sea with a beautiful deep sea fauna. Moreover, there is a bathing establishment and free inlets.
Besides the abovementioned beaches (20 – 30km), you can choose from a vast variety of other ones such as Marina di Alberese, inlets and creeks in the Argentario, Ansedonia, Feniglia and P.S.Stefano where you can also take the ferry to go to Giglio Island (1 hour). An easy way to visit the inlets in Talamone and Alberese, Monte Argentario and Giglio Island is to rent a boat or a raft in the various harbours or to go on mini-cruises around the islands (such as Elba, Giglio, Giannutri, Montecristo).
